There's a lot of people willingly going to lie to you just for something. Intimacy? Attention? Friendship? Belonging?
And it's not always for a reason that's bad... loneliness can drive a person to say yes to whatever as far as they're seen. As far as they're heard, as long as they're connected to someone else…
You yourself don't believe in your own identity.
You cannot define it without falling into disgusting sexist stereotypes.

Some of them don't care.
They see you in your completely lost sense of self.
They notice your fragility and how easily you bend for some affirmation.
They couldn't care about your frustrations or mental situation. You are their easiest target.
