Let's network!
I'm working on growing my network.
But it's a little bit difficult.
I want to make connections that really last, and for that I need to open up.
I want to make connections with people that have similar values to me and that have similar goals. It's been too difficult trying to keep on platforms like LinkedIn... It's overwhelming and I get lost. I want to manage my own accounts too, so I'm working on how to make it work.
This is a casual, introductory 1-on-1 online networking meeting, expected to last about 15 minutes. The goal is simply to connect, not to engage in immediate sales or purchases. If there's a need for our respective services in the future, that opportunity will naturally arise.
Values I want to share with my network:
- Respect and accountability: I'm someone that prefers to document as much as possible. If there's agreements, even better.
- Purpose driven: I don't want to be ghosted again over supposed projects that I offered to contribute to just to be left on seen or as if it never happened. It's more frustrating when there wasn't any form of payment or attribution for me. Therefore, I do not and will not participate in such "projects" again.
- Family: I'm the second person that takes the most care of my disabled sibling. Therefore, I cannot and will not work with someone who doesn't value family protection. I want to have kids later on too, which is another main reason.
- Balance of Individualism and Collectivism: I seek to collaborate with individuals who recognize the appropriate context for both individual action and collective participation. I represent myself when appropriate and advocate for the group when necessary.
Goals:
I'm big on education, health and technology.
I have a lot of projects that I want to make. Some of them are:
- Anti abuse prevention project for relationships. I'll add more about this soon, some indirect points have been presented in JournalNight.
- Personal Safety & Risk-Awareness Framework. The possible contests have been shared in JournalNight >> too.
- Anti-bullying system that helps students who are going through bullying and combats work harassment. I want to work with law firms and make this to fight bullies and abusers that think they can get away with being POS.
- Help people gain an education. There's a big number of people that have had issues getting an education in the past, such as my parents. Both couldn't finish the equivalence of High School. I'm currently testing with The Learning Strategy System >> and seeing how and what I could do in this area.
- Medical literacy. There's a lot of personal history and general history to this... I'll talk soon more about that in Salusfera >>
My weaknesses:
- I'm socially inept. Have always been. I've developed a lot of ways to communicate, but sometimes my brain will just not work as hard as I try to. I'm still trying every time I can, of course. But it adds a small layer. Not impossible to work with, just a bit harder on my end. Direct language and structure will always be prioritized.
What I don't want:
I'm not looking to control, and that's why I want to share this.
- I don't want to engage or work with cheaters. If they can't respect their partners, they won't respect me — they won't respect themselves.
- I don't do alcohol, weed, vape, smoke... anything like that. Sugar and coffee is enough, and even that I'm trying to decrease. I won't make exceptions and won't show up to events where such things happen.
- I'm non-religious/apatheist. It's going to be uncomfortable for me to appear at religious events, so I rather not. I'm not going to push or tell anyone to not believe or believe either. That's a personal thing.
- I always make sure to keep professional and personal relationships totally separate. Even though I might come across sometimes as "too friendly" or a little "flirtatious," I draw a firm line. I won't mix romance or flirting with people I'm trying to build a business connection with. I expect the same expectations on both ends.
- I cannot stand people that use phrases like “it's the jews!” “Zionism!” “Antisemitism” “MAGA” “WOKE” and such all the time, even more if it's about social media warriors. It's exhausting to even breathe the same air as someone like this. I want to be surrounded by people who prefer working on what they can control.
People I want to network with:
- Health and medical professionals: Physicians, nurses, physical therapists, mental health counselors, pharmacists
- Relationship professionals: Marriage and family therapists, dating coaches, mediators
- Legal professionals: Attorneys, paralegals, judges
- Culinary professionals: Bakers, executive chefs, caterers, food critics
- Craft makers: Jewelry designers, woodworkers, candlemakers, custom gift creators
- Other professionals
